COPYRIGHT POLICY

1. Copyright Ownership

Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights to their scholarly work published by NAS Publisher. Authors are not required to transfer copyright ownership to NAS Publisher.

Upon acceptance and publication, authors grant NAS Publisher the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, preserve, and make the article publicly available as part of the relevant journal and its archives.

2. Open Access Policy

All journals published by NAS Publisher provide immediate open access to their published content. Articles are freely available online without subscription fees, registration requirements, or access restrictions.

NAS Publisher supports the free dissemination of scholarly knowledge and promotes the widest possible access to research.

3. Creative Commons License

Unless otherwise stated, articles published by NAS Publisher are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) license.

Under this license, users may:

  • Read and download articles free of charge;
  • Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
  • Share articles for non-commercial purposes;
  • Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material for non-commercial purposes;

provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source of publication.

Commercial use of published material requires appropriate permission from the copyright holder(s), in accordance with the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license.

4. Author Rights

Authors retain the right to:

  • Share and distribute their published articles;
  • Deposit the published version or other permitted versions in institutional or subject repositories;
  • Share their work on personal websites and academic platforms;
  • Use their articles for educational and research purposes;
  • Reuse their work in future publications, books, theses, or other scholarly works;

provided that appropriate acknowledgement is given to the original publication in the relevant NAS Publisher journal.

5. Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material, including figures, tables, images, illustrations, or other content owned by third parties.

Where third-party material is included in an article, authors must clearly identify the copyright holder and provide appropriate acknowledgements or permissions where required.

6. Author Responsibilities

By submitting a manuscript to a journal published by NAS Publisher, authors confirm that:

  • The work is original;
  • The manuscript has not been published previously, except where permitted under the journal’s policies;
  • The submission does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any individual or organization;
  • All listed authors have approved the final version of the manuscript;
  • Necessary permissions have been obtained for copyrighted or third-party material;
  • The manuscript complies with applicable ethical and legal requirements.

7. Preservation and Archiving

NAS Publisher may preserve published articles and associated metadata in its archives and through appropriate digital preservation and indexing services.

Authors retain copyright while NAS Publisher maintains the right to preserve and provide continued access to the published version of the scholarly record.

8. Corrections, Retractions, and Removal

NAS Publisher may issue corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, or other editorial notices when necessary to protect the integrity of the scholarly record.

In exceptional circumstances, access to content may be modified or restricted where legally required or where serious ethical or legal concerns arise.

9. Copyright Infringement

NAS Publisher respects intellectual property rights. If an individual or organization believes that material published on a NAS Publisher journal website infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights, they may contact the editorial office with relevant details and supporting information.

All legitimate complaints will be reviewed appropriately.

10. License Information

The applicable copyright and Creative Commons license information will be clearly displayed on each published article and on the relevant journal website.

Unless otherwise specified, copyright remains with the author(s), and articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) license.
