Article Processing Charges (APC)

1. Overview and Open Access Funding Model

NAS Publisher operates as an independent international open-access publisher. To maintain a sustainable publishing ecosystem that covers rigorous peer review coordination, digital preservation, copyediting, formatting, DOI allocation, and continuous online hosting, we charge a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) only after a manuscript has successfully passed the peer-review process and been accepted for publication.

We do not charge any submission fees or hidden administrative costs for reviewing manuscripts.

2. Standard Processing Charges

Our standard processing fees are kept minimal to ensure that high-quality academic research remains globally accessible:

• Standard Article Processing Fee: Applicable to regular research papers, review articles, and short communications within standard page limits (up to 25 printed pages and up to 4 authors).
• Additional Page / Author Fee: Manuscripts exceeding 25 printed pages or containing more than 4 co-authors may incur marginal supplemental charges to account for expanded layout and editorial processing requirements.

3. What is Included in the Fee?

The Article Processing Charge covers the entire end-to-end publication infrastructure:

• Rigorous double-blind peer review management and editorial processing
• Professional layout design, formatting, typesetting, and PDF/HTML generation
• Digital Object Identifier (DOI) assignment for every published article
• Long-term digital archiving, indexing preparation, and cloud server hosting
• Global open-access distribution under the CC BY-NC license framework

4. Fee Waivers and Discounts

NAS Publisher is committed to ensuring that lack of funds does not prevent world-class research from being published. We consider partial fee waivers or discounts for authors hailing from low-income economies or those experiencing severe financial constraints. Waiver requests must be submitted directly to the editorial office prior to or during the initial submission stage.

5. Secure Payment Gateway

Once a manuscript is formally accepted for publication, the corresponding author will receive payment instructions along with an invoice. Payments can be processed securely online using major credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or approved digital payment channels via our dedicated payment portal.
